Captain Jacob LEECH   Capt. LEECH was the son of  Esther ASHMEAD and Toby LEECH, Province of  PA.  (1)

Elinor ROBESON   Elinor was born in 1703 at Shoomac Park, Roxborough Twp, Philadelphia County, Province of PA.  She married   Captain Jacob LEECH on 4 Apr 1733. (1)

Elinor's parents were Andrew ROBESON (b: 1654) and Mary SPENCER (b: 1666)

Children:

  1. Mary LEECH  Mary was born in 1734. She is buried in the churchyard of the Trinity Church at Oxford, PA  (1)

  2. Jacob LEECH  Jacob was born on 18 Aug 1735.  He married  Elizabeth SWIFT,  (1)

  3. Margaret LEECH  Margaret was born on 9 Nov 1737.  She married Richard THOMAS.  (1)

  4. Esther LEECH  Esther was born on 11 Oct 1741.  She is buried in the churchyard of the Trinity Church at Oxford, PA  (1)

  5. Elinor LEECH  Elinor was born on 28 Oct 1744.  She married  Abraham PASTORIOUS.  (1)

  6. Joseph LEECH  Joseph married  Mary THOMAS  (1)

  1. Elinor and Jacob LEECH lived at first in Cheltenham, PA, and afterward in the vicinity of Philadelphia, PA  Elinor was Jacob's second wife.  In 1748, Jacob was Captain  of the Associated Regiment of Philadelphia.  He is buried in the churchyard of the Trinity Church at Oxford, PA  (1)
